Donald Glover has released a new Rap video on his site iamdonald.com.  The song titled Freaks and geeks is full of pop culture references.  I tried to make a list but gave up quickly!

Joel McHale interview in Vanity Fair

Joel McHale hosting the Spirit Awards and Vanity Fair  has a great interview!

Don’t Forget that the Independent Spirit Awards airs tomorrow night at 10pm on IFC.

Highlights From Vanity Fair :
John Lopez: You’re hosting the Film Independent Spirit Awards. How did that happen?
Joel McHale: They asked me to do it. I was like, “Yes.” And they were like, “O.K.” Now here we are. I didn’t have to kill anyone. There wasn’t a posting on a kiosk.
You didn’t answer an ad on Craigslist?
It wasn’t Craigslist. I think it was Angie’s list.
What’s the secret to hosting this kind of stuff?
The secret, jeez. Boy, I don’t know… my main concern is making sure the monologue is funny, and the things I do in between are funny. I think keeping the ball rolling is very important. People are there a long time, and it just needs to keep moving.
Who knows, maybe one day you’ll host the Oscars? Maybe you’re the next Billy Crystal.
Well, I’m not pursuing hosting, [but] I would like to be in a movie as good as When Harry Met Sally. No, my focus now is movies, and more so, making Community the best show on TV.
Community is very cinematic. Like Justin Lin’s episode—you guys have a lot of movie-oriented fun.
Yes, that’s one of the goals of the producers and Dan Harmon the creator—to make it distinct from other shows, because so many comedy shows are shot like documentary shows. They wanted to get away from that. So it does become cinematic. So I’m focusing on that, and getting movie roles.

Donald Glover and Danny Pudi throw a raging party just for the fans!

Zap2it.com reports that after Danny and Donald invited anyone and everyone to come out to party with them on their dime!
From Zaptit.com:
The next time we see an open invite from NBC's "Community" stars, Donald Glover and Danny Pudi to party with them, work be damned. We're going.
On Wednesday (Feb. 23) night, Glover tweeted, "Me and [Danny Pudi] are at Agave on Vermont in LA. Open bar for an hour (for my fans) starting...NOW!"
Yes, we didn't make it over, but there were certainly plenty of fans who did. So, what happens when you hang out with Glover and Pudi? To our delight, Twitter was made for these kind of things. There was general frolic, a botched deal to get siblings to make out, and the actors reached new heights in bar-dom.
"@MrDonaldGlover offered me fifty bucks to make out with my brother. Not enough...," tweeted one fan in attendance.
To which Glover replied, "Hey! I said $100. I'm not a creep."
I hate it I miss this one!

Alison Brie and Danny Pudi Talk About Community's Love Connections and Politics

Buzzsugar.com has a new interview with Alison Brie and Danny Pudi about the future of
Community and tonight’s all new episode!

Will we see anything happen between Annie and Jeff in the future?
Alison Brie: You know, I still think that Annie holds a little flame for Jeff. We saw [it] in an episode when we first came back and Rich comes on the scene; you can tell that Jeff gets a little bit jealous. I think that there is a bit of a push and pull between the two of them, and actually in this episode that we're talking about, there's a bit of that tension there as well, throughout the election. I think that their bumping heads kind of fuels more of that. I think that anytime they're together, there's a bit of that, because it can't exist, or because it's controversial. I think that makes it dangerous and interesting, and obviously to Annie, it's exciting to have a crush on an older guy, and she continues to try to challenge Jeff in that way. That spark is not totally dead. You may catch glimpses of it in this episode. We shall see . . . we'll have to wait and see if it amounts to anything.

Do Troy and Abed (In the morning) have any dream guests?
DP: I'd like to see Howard Stern . . . I'd actually like to see Chevy Chase. Not Pierce, but Chevy Chase.

How close did Annie and Britta get close to kissing on the Valentine's day episode?
AB: It was such a funny thing because it wasn't in the script, we just sort of improvised it while we were doing it, and then one of our producers was there and was like, "Oh that's so great, I'll just yell 'kiss her,' and then you guys do that!" And everyone behind the monitor was like "Yeaaah." It was clearly a bunch of dudes.
DP: Yeah, it was crazy that we were so excited about that. It was crazy to see that actually end up in an episode too, because we were so excited about it.
AB: I couldn't believe they kept it in, to be honest. But I have to say we really didn't get that close to kissing. I think we actually got closer to kissing in a photograph that one of our writers posted on Twitter. Like behind the scenes on set is just a bit more racy than our on-camera work.

The boys from Community pose for GQ!

Thats right the male cast of Community is featured in this months issue of GQ.  They guys show of some of the latest fashions... and yes that is Chevy peeing in the corner!
From GQ:Gant by Michael Bastian
On the Cast of Community
Took the reins: 2009, New York City
Designer: Michael Bastian, 45
The aesthetic: The beloved American heritage brand gets a pick-me-up from one of the marquee interpreters of American style. The result is classic sports-influenced preppy (madras, rugby shirts, navy blazers) updated with bolder patterns and colors and slimmer fits.
Every man should own: "A pair of five-pocket cords. They work with everything, and you need to give your jeans a rest. Sometimes there's a little too much denim static out there."
Fashion pet peeve: "I'm ready for the whole stylist phenomenon with celebrities to go away. People always ask, 'Whose style do you admire?' Well, it's hard to say, because I don't think we're seeing personal style; we're seeing hired style."
Inspiration: "No one has more style than a New York City 7-year-old. I live next to a school in Greenwich Village, and it's always so cool to see the parents walking their kids to school, because it's two moms or two dads, mixed-race families, and you can see that the kids are just allowed to be themselves and pick their own clothes in the morning."
