Chevy Chase super bowl ad

Something’s in the air and it smells like Chevy Chase! News of the new Griswold/HomeAway Vacation super bowel ad is popping up everywhere and people are even saying nice things about Chevy!

The ad will serve as a mock movie trailer for the 15-minute short film “Hotel Hell Vacation,” which will be available on HomeAway.com.

The plot involves Clark surprising Ellen with a romantic second honeymoon before an extended vacation with son Rusty and his brood. Expect plenty of mishaps along the way though – it wouldn’t be a Griswold vacation without them.

'American Idol': Katharine McPhee makes out with Joel McHale!

Apparently this girl is a big deal... I am over 30 so I am not too familiar with American Idol.  I guess this girl is a big deal.  I am still a Belinda Carlisle fan myself, but I'm old.

Any way Katharine McPhee joined Chelsea Lately for some girl talk.  Mostly about American Idol, diets, and hair care.  She does mention her upcomming guest spot on Community and making Britta jealous!

She barely mentions Community but here is a little something for those under 30!

Check it out:

Hot Tub Time Machine Red Band Trailer 2

Here is the new Red Band trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine costarring Chevy. So far it looks great... there is not much Chevy but I am also a big fan of nudity and bad language.

Vanity Fair unfolds its Conan/Leno conspiracy theory... Joel is the man on the grassy knoll.

Why was Jeff Zucker so willing to pay out tons of cash to get rid of Conan with the over the hill bore Leno?

Robert J. Hollywood Jr. at Vainty Fair beleives that he is grooming a certain budding NBC star.  Thats right the theory is that Leno can't have more than 4 years in him and that is just when Community may be winding down just in time for Joel to slide into the late ring.

We will see, although I still hoping to see the gang hit graduate school!

Check out the full article at Vainty fair:

Also for the 4 of you in America who missed Joel on Conan last night here it is:

Community sells Turbo Tax

Ken Jeong and our Dean Jim Rash pick up some extra change by doing Turbo Tax commericals that air exclusively during Community.

That reminds me... I really do do my taxes this time.

Leno suck! But with his 10pm show ending, NBC has to fill that time with more shows... like Community!

EW.com reports that NBC orders 3 more episodes for us to enjoy. That brings us to a grand total of 25 episodes! Yay!

Leno still Sucks!

Chevy Chase visits Jimmy Kimmel Live! and plays Conan!

So Jimmy Kimmel does the entire show as Jay Leno. It's pretty weird but Chevy who was a guest on the show to plug Community made a little cameo as Conan. The hair is hilarious It's pretty uncomfortable to watch Jimmy Kimmel's Leno but Chevy as usual saves it. It's the hair.

The cast of CommunityHits the TCA's!

The cast of Community hit the Television Critics Association Press tour. In several articles the cast talked ratings and guest stars.

When asked if anything can be done to turn Community’s ratings around, Chase quips, “Go to another network.”

McHale is more philosophical about the network’s and his show’s problems. He says, “I hear about the ratings and I’m like, ‘It’s not our problem, let’s just go to work a great show.’”

Katharine McPhee guest on Community

NBC and everybody else reports that the American Idol contestant will be guesting on Community. The word from up top is that Katharine McPhee is playing Chevy Chase/Pierce's daughter and a potential love interest for Jeff. The episode is set to air as the first post-Olympics episode.

I have to admit that I don't know who Katharine McPhee is but I like what I have seen so far from the pictures I googled!
