Something’s in the air and it smells like Chevy Chase! News of the new Griswold/HomeAway Vacation super bowel ad is popping up everywhere and people are even saying nice things about Chevy!
The ad will serve as a mock movie trailer for the 15-minute short film “Hotel Hell Vacation,” which will be available on HomeAway.com.
The plot involves Clark surprising Ellen with a romantic second honeymoon before an extended vacation with son Rusty and his brood. Expect plenty of mishaps along the way though – it wouldn’t be a Griswold vacation without them.
I can't believe I am doing this but it is time to enter the 21st Century. So here goes!

Why was Jeff Zucker so willing to pay out tons of cash to get rid of Conan with the over the hill bore Leno?
Robert J. Hollywood Jr. at Vainty Fair beleives that he is grooming a certain budding NBC star. Thats right the theory is that Leno can't have more than 4 years in him and that is just when Community may be winding down just in time for Joel to slide into the late ring.
We will see, although I still hoping to see the gang hit graduate school!
Thanks to Mark for this scoop. lehighvalleylive.com has a preview of the new Chevy Chase super bowel commercial where he and Beverly D’Angelo reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold! The ad is for the vacation-rental Web site HomeAway. Good to see them together again. I can't wait for this one.

Lots of surprises in last nights episode "Investigative Journalism." As usual there are lots of reviews today. Mostly good but all agree too much Jack Black. Great surprise ending though and the triumphant return of Star-burns!
So Jimmy Kimmel does the entire show as Jay Leno. It's pretty weird but Chevy who was a guest on the show to plug Community made a little cameo as Conan. The hair is hilarious It's pretty uncomfortable to watch Jimmy Kimmel's Leno but Chevy as usual saves it. It's the hair.
That's right theflickcast.com has given virtually half an episode. But seriously folks check out these new clips of what looks like a great episode including a classic Jeff entrance, a group hug, a kick to the face and the classmate we never knew... meet Buddy!
The cast of Community hit the Television Critics Association Press tour. In several articles the cast talked ratings and guest stars. When asked if anything can be done to turn Community’s ratings around, Chase quips, “Go to another network.” McHale is more philosophical about the network’s and his show’s problems. He says, “I hear about the ratings and I’m like, ‘It’s not our problem, let’s just go to work a great show.’” Check out these pictures and the full articles at: http://www.popsugar.com/6994014 and... http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/community-ratings/
NBC and everybody else reports that the American Idol contestant will be guesting on Community. The word from up top is that Katharine McPhee is playing Chevy Chase/Pierce's daughter and a potential love interest for Jeff. The episode is set to air as the first post-Olympics episode.
I have to admit that I don't know who Katharine McPhee is but I like what I have seen so far from the pictures I googled!
After careful review of Chevy Chase's appearance on this past weeks People's Choice Awards over at The Chevy Chase show Blog we have discovered that at 2 min and 13 seconds into the clip, Chevy Very clearly says "Holly Shit!" We believe it to be a response to the large number of cast and crew rushing to the stage to accept the award! Funny Stuff!
Shot at 2010-01-07 Chevy presented an award with Jenna Elfman and schmoozed on the red Carpet! Good times!
Alt Film guide reported live from back stage: Chevy Chase is putting on a show right now for reporters. He just said that in 2010 he’s hoping for "a huge funeral" or at least some "scandal" to keep him in the public eye.
Justin Lin is nominated for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for his work directing the "Community" episode Introduction to Statistics. Congrats to Justin and the cast and crew of Community for the nomination. Sadly, once again the NAACP has over looked Chevy's Performance.
youoffendmeyouoffendmyfamily.com has a great article about what is what like for Justin Lin, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift director to direct the Halloween Episode of Community. There was however no mention of why anyone would put Vin Diesel in a film.
