Last poll of 2009!

The last poll results of 2009 are in and the study group scenes seem to be everyone’s favorites! Second place went to Student life. I guess everyone likes to see our group all together rather than smaller groups. I think Dan Harman does too!

We've been waiting to see this movie for sometime. Still no official release date but a poster is a start. The film actually looks pretty good... kind of a teeny bopper movie for adults but it does have a pretty good cast. In it a former student returns to his high school and romances the girl he left behind. Chevy play the principle. Please let him end up with Hilliary Duff!

Trailer For new Chevy Chase film... Hot Tub Time Machine!

Well after months of waiting we finially get a full trailer for the new film Hot Tub Time machine co-staring Chevy Chase.

Synopsis:
After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads’ pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures – one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!

The film stars John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Lizzy Caplan, Crispin Glover and Chevy Chase.

Ken Jeong wins an Achievement Award

5 movies and he gets a lifetime achievement award. I love Hollywood!

Watch as Daniel Henney and Sandra Oh present an Achievement Award in Film & Television to fellow actor Ken Jeong. He is pretty great!

Funniest Chevy Lines: S01e12

Well Chevy came out swinging last night delivering some of the episodes funniest lines. Enjoy some of our favorites:

Pierce about Mike: “That guy wasn’t gay. He had a mustache.”

Pierce being racist to Troy: “I assume you’re handy with a switchblade.”

Pierce being racist to Abed: “You get back to the family tent and try to find a chicken for Jeff to chase.”

Pierce to Jeff about not standing up to Mike: “So what’s the deal Jeff, you leave your stones in your other suit?”

Honorable mention goes to Anthony Michael Hall who delivered one of the funniest lines of the episode:
Knock, knock… my fist up your balls!”

Abed meets the reel Abed!

The cast of Community attended and presented at the Channy Awards. Dan Harmon the creator of the show is also the creator of Channel 101 and asked the cast to attend.

The funniest part is when Danny meets the real Abed! For those of you that did not know, Dan based Abed on Abed Gheith! When worlds collide!

Winterdoodle’s worth Fighting for!

Merry Happy Everyone!

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon milk
Powdered sugar, for rolling out dough
Directions
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Place butter and sugar in large bowl of electric stand mixer and beat until light in color. Add egg and milk and beat to combine. Put mixer on low speed, gradually add flour, and beat until mixture pulls away from the side of the bowl. Divide the dough in half, wrap in waxed paper, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Comingsoon.net interviews Donald Glover

Comingsoon.net has a new interview with Donald Glover where he discusses the future of Mystery Team and the possibility of him writing Community. Glover also hints at some future episodes of Community:

CS: Are there any more episodes coming up where we get to learn a little more about Troy's backstory?Glover: Yes, I think it's the third one after we get back from the Christmas episode. There's a big Troy storyline where we find out a little bit more about not only Troy, but I think if you watched it the right way, it's me. (Laughs) So, it's a pretty intense one and it has to do with a new class that I'm taking, so yeah, definitely watch out for that.

Exclusive Interview: Greendale Community Talks to Yvette Nicole Brown about staring on Community and getting her very own catch phrase!

Greendale Community is proud to present an exclusive interview with the wonderful Yvette Nicole Brown. You all know her as Shirley the sweet, caring but sometimes angry student on Community. You may also recognize Yvette from such film and television roles as The Ugly Truth, Boston Legal, The Office and many more. After exchanging a few e-mails she was kind enough to answer some questions for us. Yvette is as sweet as you would imagine and even ends her sentences with little smiley faces! Yvette shares with us some great stories from the set including the chemistry between Shirley and Jeff, working with Dan Harmon and getting her very own catch phrase!

The great thing about Community is that so much of the show evolves the whole cast together in one room. What is it like filming those scenes?

We have a lot of fun filming the study room scenes. The only "hazard" is that we have a hard time not laughing. Danny Pudi and I have ruined quite a few takes.

Working with such hilarious people I would imagine it to be extremely hard to keep from ruining every scene by laughing. Especially the Halloween episode must have been tough to get through with everyone’s costumes. Has there been a particularly tough scene for you?
